What I Like In a Movie Review (Billy Madison)

I have scoured through many different sites and read many movie reviews but out of all of them this was the best. I thought it was a very good review because of the information that was given.  The movie review gives the characters names in the movie and who is playing them, witch to me is very important so you know who is the actors playing each roll. Also in the movie review gives you a basic summary of the movie which I like but some people may find it giving the movie away. Another pro of the movie review is that it doesn't give away the twisted ending. The review also appealed to me because it mentions it is a comedy and I am a big fan of a comedy.

If I was to look for a movie review i would like to have one similar to thing one with the characters and the genre. I would not like to have as much of the story line because it gives away the movie and i would sooner watch the movie to find out what is going to happen.

The Phone

    The Phone

I get good news, bad news, but mostly a lot of gossip. The phone changed my life on a snowy day that I will never forget.

    It was a storm day and I was given the responsibility of looking after my brother. We were enjoying a meal of craft dinner when suddenly the red object on the counter made a loud ring.I scurried to the red, awkward shaped, pyramid like object that was shuffling across the counter. I pulled the “u” shaped receiver off the base and gently pressed it against my ear.  I was being gentle with the phone because my grandparents had passed it down to my parents.

    A man on the other end of the phone said ”I am sorry there has been an accident, your parents have passed away”. My body froze. The phone  slipped out of my had and banged up against the cupboard leaving an indent of the phone. My brother jumped out of the chair in fear. Trying to stay strong I looked at him and said “everything is gonna be alright”.

    After the accident me and my brother moved in with my grandparents. Not having my parents around made my day to day life difficult to live. To this day when that red phone rings, I think back to that  stormy  afternoon when my life changed forever.
